About Me
A few years ago I started painting to decorate and brighten up my children's rooms and after a while started to paint more for fun, then as presents for new babies and birthday gifts. When my friends asked to buy some, I said yes and from there I started to show at the odd fair until it became more of a regular thing. So now here I am now with a website, all a bit of a surprise really...
I've experimented with various different styles mostly for children's rooms but also some that would look good in other places in the home.
I've also painted several watercolours of our friends wedding's, anniversaries and birthdays. More recently I have turned my mum and dad's wedding photo into a card for their 40th anniversary.
I have no formal training but come from an arty family, my Dad was an art and graphic design teacher for 30 years and my mum makes cards, teaches card making classes and knits baby gifts. My mum normally comes with me to the fairs, but I've listed her knitted gifts on this site as there's usually a waiting list.
My style varies and I enjoy trying to use lots of different mediums in the pictures from watercolours, acrylics and glitter. Anything goes really. I enjoy doing new things so keep checking back to see what's new.
